Has anyone been to the Ruins of Alph lately? I know I investigated them for a few weeks when I was in Violet City when I started out, but has anyone else?
[He pauses, then tugs out his Trainer Handbook. He's written something in the front cover of it, and he's going to post it.]

Thus we shall erect a Pokémon statue outside.
They possess great insight and refuse the outside world.
We humans must learn to walk in harmony with them. We depart for their sakes.
That's roughly what the text on the walls. It took me a while to figure it out... That's why I was there for so long. I'm still kind of disappointed that I didn't see any weird Pokémon while I was staying though. I guess they're really shy.

It's been subjected to Reaver's...well, camwhoring...on a rather regular basis...]

How... colorful? Actually, it's kind of creepy. It looks like something Galpos would have hidden away in its vast jungle.

Believe me, it's not any better when it's approaching you in the darkness of those lower levels. As they are prone to doing.
Although I must admit that I'm not familiar with this...Galpos; care to go on?

The terrain is mostly jungle, and tends to be very wild. There are a lot of neat monsters there, actually, and they're all pretty big thanks to the ecosystem. Kind of like the ones here, except those would attack you on sight and these ones won't really do that. There's a weird old man that lives in the middle of the jungle who knows it well. Oh, and a friend of mine lived at the shrine there with his brothers, but he doesn't anymore. I guess that's about it.
