[Who knew training Pokémon was so tough? Besides that, now he had two of them to deal with...

...or so it'd seem. For the last three days, there's been a Sentret trailing him - from New Bark Town, all the way to Violet City. He hadn't exactly caught it - he didn't really want to, considering it seemed pretty young to be out on its own and certainly it must have a family or something - and he's beginning to wonder if feeding the poor thing the first time he saw it was a Bad Idea.

He's sitting inside the Pokécenter for the moment; Doctor's outside with the Sentret, and with this peace and quiet he can finally settle down to talk to others for a while.]

I haven't been here too long [a little over a week, and that was pushing it; he'd only gotten to Violet that morning after trucking it as hard as he could] so I, um, have a question... Is it normal for a wild Pokémon to follow you if you feed it? Like a stray dog?

And if so, is it better to catch it or to hope it'll just go home?

I don't know if it's what could be considered normal, but, uhh, I have a wild Pokemon that follows me for no reason. I didn't exactly feed it, unless just sort of greeting it curiously counts as feeding, but now it won't leave me alone or let me catch it.

I dunno about "normal" but I can tell ya that some Pokemon will follow ya around, even if they're wild. [ She laughs. ] Had one tag along all throughout Sprout Tower and I didn't even feed him first!

[ As for the question, well... She'll start with this. ]

I caught 'im, cause at least I knew that he wanted to hang around me. If you like it, what's the harm?

Sometimes wild Pokemon will follow you around in a non aggressive manner, aru. That's what my Gyarados did to me when she was a Magikarp.

I think you should just catch it. I mean, might as well since it seems to have taken a liking to you and it's always better to have more Pokemon on hand.

It's not exactly the norm, but I think in that kind of situation it's best to catch it.

... unless it's like... a ghost. Then you might want to find a way to scare it off or it will end up haunting you for the rest of your days.
